My inner ding led me on a 13-year journey to the Middle East to teach in 2002. I answered the call and leaped, leading me on the most authentic adventure of my life. To do this, I had to leave behind my family, my partner of 10 years, and my ESL teaching job.
I share with listeners my story of finding myself, meeting the man I would marry, surviving the 2004 tsunami, and what it was like to live in the Middle East as an ex-pat.
