Because we Sing, Dance, Make Art, Build, Write

It is the way of creatures to be busy doing what creatures do.

Single Cell creatures modulate and pulse,

as they are subjected to the currents of gasses and liquids that contain them

They set the pulse for the larger creatures that envelop them.

Tardigrades feel the pulse, perform slow moving acrobatics,

as they feed, breed and exist in their ever-resilient skins

as they exist in

 extreme environments, radiated, cold, full oxygen or no oxygen

Their sensory bristles and spines

Reach out and feel the pulse of their world

Taste its chemicals, see its light

Ants and Bee’s work gather and build,

With systemic organization

They feel the pulse

They make patterns of their paths,

Trailing their chemicals to communicate

For others to follow

They Hum while they work.

They build castles of colonies above, or below ground

Birds

Flap their wings

 Sing, call, Dance

Migrate through instinctively known patterns.

Perhaps reacting to the magnetic force of Earths Poles,

That pulse and modulate

They find their mates through a Dance,

Or with a well-built decorated nest.

Or Perhaps with a beautiful song,

Then spend their lives in tandem.

They teach their young, to

Sing, Call, Dance

Humans

We sing, dance, make art, build, write.

to leave our trails everywhere

 in concrete, sound, written words

we pulse and modulate

Art, in abstraction and realism to say things in ways words can only outline

We invented science to create more ways to leave trails

radio, tv, wifi,

We believe our patterns make our history.

It is the way of creatures,

To be busy doing what creatures do,

We modulate and pulse

It is how we

Keep tethered to each other.

And we reach to other species.

Cross each other’s paths for good or ill,

It is what creatures of Earth Do,

And Earth

As it Modulates and Pulses

 surrounded by air and clouds

That move and dance as the Earth spins

And defines its seasons as it rotates

And circles the Sun,

As the Sun

Modulates and Pulses,

Pulls its orbiting and dancing neighbors,

With the force of its gravity

Through

The

Universe.
